Autumn School
7th November 2011 - 9th November 2011
Miskin Manor, Near Cardiff
This residential school has the theme of Bringing the Emphasis back to Open Access, and Demonstrating Value to Your Institution.
This event will take place in the stunning Miskin Manor Hotel and Health Club, in Miskin to the north of Cardiff. Miskin Manor, nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside, yet just a few miles from the coast the Manor is less than a mile from the M4.
This stunning house is set in 22 glorious acres making it a delightful rural retreat.
This course will allow delegates and speakers to examine issues in detail away from the day to day pressures of the office. Spread over three days the event will allow delegates time to network and share experiences through the formal sessions and informal social times.
The event is subsidised by the RSP with places costing just £120 per person, including two nights B&B, lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and evening meals on Monday and Tuesday. This price also includes access to the leisure facilities at the Hotel. Due to high demand, places are initially limited to one delegate per repository/institution. However, we will operate a reserve list should places become available due to cancellation, and have found places for those on the reserve list at the last event.
