How embedded and integrated is your repository?

This free one day event organised by JISC and the Repositories Support Project (RSP) aims to showcase the work of the following JISC Information Environment Programme Repositories: take -up and embedding projects (JISCrte):
- eNova - Visual Arts Data Service (VADS); University for the Creative Arts; and University of the Arts, London
- MIRAGE - Middlesex University
- NECTAR - University of Northampton
- RADAR - Glasgow School of Art
- Hydra in Hull - University of Hull
- EXPLORER - De Montfort University
These projects all completed successfully in December 2011. This event will also have a session on the 'Embedding Repositories: A Guide and Self-Assessment Tool' which was launched in December 2011.

Autumn School
7th November 2011, 13:00, Miskin Manor Country Hotel and Health Club
This residential school has the theme of Bringing the Emphasis back to Open Access, and Demonstrating Value to Your Institution.
This event will take place in the stunning Miskin Manor Hotel and Health Club, in Miskin to the north of Cardiff. Miskin Manor, nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside, yet just a few miles from the coast the Manor is less than a mile from the M4 and very easy to access by car.

Readiness for REF (R4R) Workshop

Building on the success of the R4R end of project workshop, this event will present the findings of the R4R project including plugins for ePrints, DSpace and Fedora. The event will also look to the evaluation of Impact through the MICE project (Measuring Impact under CERIF).

SHERPA/RoMEO for Publishers

This workshop will provide an overview of open access, and summarise the issues for publishers and learned societies. It will also outline the problems faced by RoMEO in gathering policy information, and introduce ways in which RoMEO can help publishers optimise their policies for their chosen business model.
