Preservation for Repository Practitioners - Edinburgh
26th May 2010
Library Meeting Room, University of Edinburgh Main Library, 30 George Square, Newington, Edinburgh EH8 9LJ
This was one of two workshops jointly organised by the Repositories Support Project (RSP), the Welsh Repositories Network (WRN) and the Enhancing Repository Infrastructure in Scotland project (ERIS). It provided an overview of preservation issues and discussion on how repository managers could raise awareness of the need for preservation in their institutions. In addition, there was a demonstration of the PLATO tool created by the PLANETS Project which can be used to create a preservation policy and plan.
