This free event is being organised in partnership with SHERPA, and has been scheduled as a pre-event for RepoFringe 2010, which follows on the 2nd & 3rd September.
SHERPA/RoMEO is the database of scholarly publishers' open access policies that is used by repository managers and academics worldwide to check the archiving rights for their publications.

- to merge RoMEO data with local information
- etc.
This workshop brings together people with an interest in the SHERPA/RoMEO API; outlining the purpose of the API, progress and plans for development; Presenting user case studies; discussing users' needs and priorities; and helping set the direction of developments.
To prepare for the workshop, delegates will be invited to participate in an online survey regarding their thoughts about the future API.
