RSP Autumn School success
11th November 2011,
The RSP Autumn School took place this week from the 7th - 9th November at Miskin Manor in Cardiff. The themes for the school were Bringing the emphasis back to Open Access and Demonstrating value to your institution. David Prosser from Research Libraries UK delivered a thought provoking and lively keynote address which stimulated a lot of discussion.

RSP brings together repositories and research offices
21st July 2011,
Representatives from repositories and research offices attended a Repositories Support Project event event in Nottingham on 19th July. As well as top class presentations, attendees had the opportunity to discuss issues in break out groups and talk to software providers at the Exhibition.

Communication Skills for Effective Advocacy
21st April 2011,
This workshop revists the successful and over subscribed event held last year with the same name. Workshop participants will explore effective influencing skills, sourcesof power and methods which repository managers can use to influence key people in their institutions. The day will include the opportunity to put these new skills into practice and also appraoches to effectively handling common objections.

RSP issues guidance on OpenAIRE compliance
4th April 2011,
The RSP has complied a briefing paper outlining how UK respoitories can achieve compliance with OpenAIRE guidelines. This includes an add-on for EPrints 3.2.

Warm Welcome at the RSP Winter School
16th February 2011,
The RSP headed north for its residential school this winter for a well attended and successful event.

RSP Joins With EPrints for Training Event
27th January 2011,
On 19th January 2011 RSP joined with EPrints and EPrints Services to run a training event for technical administrators of repositories running on the EPrints software.

RSP reaches out to library community
15th December 2010,
The recent RSP event "Open Access: the impact for libraries and librarians" proved a great success in highlighting OA issues for the higher education and research library community.

RSP at Online Information 2010
23rd November 2010,
Jackie Wickham from the Repositories Support Project is presenting at Online Information 2010 on 30th November in the session Open Access: New insights and opportunities.
