There are number of repository services available which can provide additional value added services to repository software.

Repository Services

• BASE - BASE is the name of the multi-disciplinary search engine for scientifically relevant web resources
• The Depot - The Depot is a deposit service for eprints, acting as a national repository for researchers not yet having an institutional repository.
• DINI - Liste deutscher Dokumenten- und Publikationsserver
• DOAJ - This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals
• DSpace Repository Listing - A listing of DSpace repositories worldwide
• Intute Repository Search - Increasing the visibility of academic, educational and research information making it readily accessible to academics, researchers, developers and associated organisations
• JORUM - Jorum is a free online repository service for teaching and support staff in UK Further and Higher Education Institutions.
• National Institute of Informatics: Current IRs in Japan - A listing of Institutional Repositories in Japan
• OAIster - OAIster is a union catalog of digital resources, providing access to these digital resources by harvesting descriptive metadata using OAI-PMH
• OpenDOAR - OpenDOAR is an authoritative directory of academic open access repositories
• openarchives.org Registered Data Providers - A directory listing of registered OAI conforming repositories
• Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR) - Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR)/
• Repository66.org Repository Maps - A mashup of repository data worldwide
• University of Illinois OAI-PMH Data Provider Registry - University of Illinois OAI-PMH Data Provider Registry
